Illustrated World, Today: BK WHITE! Distinguished Characters

This week we Golafre Martina and an illustrator who is a marvel for its work (it's amazing the amount of work that has: -0) and so nice that it is as a person. In fact let us choose the pictures to the blog post and we have set nerviosísimos (especially Golafre I was bitten several times the excitement!) because it is impossible to choose among so darling :-) The truth is that it has been a dramatic entrance, so you do not wait. M & G: "or self-taught art studies? White
: I've been drawing since I was tiny. The only girl with 4 brothers, who spent all day in his room immersed in their imaginary world. Years later I followed the path and I graduated from the School of Applied Arts in my hometown.




M & G: What was your first job as an illustrator?
White: A Tale of Victor Juan Borroy for the compilation "Tales kicking" published by the Government of Aragon in 2008.

M & G: Does your favorite work you have done so far? White
: Many! But above all a personal project I've been up to, a cat, (my passion) http://blancabk.blogspot.com/2010/11/miau-miau-miau.html





M & G: What inspires you? White
: done a lot and guiding me for my tastes. Visit museums, art galleries, cultural and colleagues blogs on the Internet. Can arise anywhere spark.

M & G: Tell us a little "what is the technique you use for your work?
White : According to the commission use watercolors or acrylics. There are two manual techniques with which I feel very comfortable. When I terminate an illustration, high quality scanning and retouch with Photoshop, to give some shade.



M & G: Do you have a story that happened to you as an illustrator? White
: was at a book signing. I was approached by a father to dedicate it to his eldest son the book he was promoting. Best of all was when Dad got me one of Disney and also asked me to dedicate it with a drawing for younger brother for not having jealousy. I found endearing and surreal at the same time. I laughed a lot.

M & G: Tell us one of your hobbies for your free time. White
: Collecting illustrated albums and travel. Never would not stop traveling. There are many sites you visit and where to learn about new cultures!





M & G: Your book- favorite story? White
: One of the first stories that I had small: "The strength of the gazelle "Carmen Vázquez-Vigo. Steam Boat.

M & G: "movie or animated series favorite? White
: "Monsters Inc." Pixar. Perfect from every point of the beholder.





M & G: What character or drawing you identify? White
: With the Pink Panther. I am a huge fan as a little.

M & G: What illustrator or graphic artist would you highlight? White
: So many to name! But among my favorite highlights Ofra Amit, Octavia Monaco, Oliver Jeffers, Carmen Queralt, and Esther Valdivia Paloma García Cortés. Different from each other but very exciting and talented all of them.





M & G: Recommend a website or blog that you especially like
