After learning first hand the beloved flu virus this year, "s, Martina and Golafre become full of mucus, peeeero with a medicine that cures a lot. Nothing like a good time to meet illustrators posh much better! :-) This week we needed a good dose of enlightenment and have gone directly to seek a World Heavyweight Illustrated. M & G: "or self-taught art studies? Marta
: studied graphic design and creative illustration graduate from the School of Art and Design Eina (Barcelona). After working as a graphic designer for 5 years, needed a change ... And the "now or never" won:) I went to England where I completed a course of children's book illustration at Cambridge School of Art. For me it was a very difficult decision, but right now could not be happier. I learned a lot and has been the final push he needed to devote myself to the artwork.
M & G: What was your first job as an illustrator?
Marta: While working as a graphic designer, I made some freelance illustration ... First of all, a picture of leaves "modern type" for a packaging of a bottle of champagne:)
M & G: Does your favorite work you have done so far?
M & G: What inspires you?
Marta: I'm very disorganized, so I have timestamps when I have to think of an idea for a new project ... I am inspired especially in things that have happened, or that I would happen to me ...
M & G: Tell us a little "what the technical you use for your work?
Marta: I like to experiment with different techniques, but most are what I use colored pencils and watercolors, although I always end up tweaking a bit with Photoshop ...
M & G: Have a story that happened to you as an illustrator?
Marta: Me ... And always remember my family and friends. Once I had to paint 60 wooden boxes for a commission. I figured a couple of days of work was a week ... My whole house full of roses and boxes around the world painting ...
M & G: Tell us one of your hobbies for your free time.
Marta: I love to dance! Since childhood I went to school and is something that's going great for unwinding.
M & G: Your book- favorite story?
Marta: There are many that I like. Among my favorites is "Crying Joy" Cuca Canals, a writer that I love.
M & G: "movie or animated series favorite?
Marta: My favorite movie is "Finding Nemo."
And last year the TV series I illustrated by Juanjo Sáez "Arròs Covaticas" with whom I laugh a lot.

Marta: Alemagna Beatrice, Anne Herbauts, Max, Isidro Ferrer, Jimmy Liao, Shel Silverstein, Delphine Durand, Alexis Rom ... So many!
