Party Wording Where Guest Pay For Their Meal
Continuing the parade of luminaries of the enlightened world, we have the real luxury to have with us one of the most amazing illustrators that we have seen: -0 Its works show characters with a look, tender, full of light and amazing live dreamscapes but both seem very real! ... If you look carefully drawings gives you the feeling that you're looking at a picture of a world that really exists, o. ..¿¿¿ really exists?? This week on Martina and Golafre ... the great FIGOWY FERNANDO!
Name: Fernando Figowy
Date and place of birth: October 4, 1969. Buenos Aires, Argentina
Web: http://www.ilustraciones.eu/
M & G: "or self-taught art studies?
Fernando: artistic studies. I did many workshops with various artists for many years, some very classic and other more innovative or related informal illustration. I was fortunate to take courses with which for me are some of my favorite artists and I admire like Carlos Nine, Hermenegildo Sabat and Guillermo Roux. I also graduated from the Visual Communication course at the University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires, helped me to complete some more theoretical knowledge relating to communication.
M & G: What was your first job as an illustrator? Fernando
: was in the magazine Noticias (Argentina). It is a magazine about politics and easy to publish me, one evening I went and left a portfolio to the receptionist, the two weeks I asked for a picture, it was in year 91.
M & G: Does your favorite work you have done so far?
Fernando: My latest book: The amazing journey to the planet Dulce. (Thule editions). Jose Diaz, the editor called me one day and said he had seen some of my work and wanted to do a book. He asked me to submit an idea and then signed a contract. He gave me full freedom to work and promised to publish without having seen almost nothing of the final material and that is very rare in the publishing world. Besides the character of the book is one of my children and we were doing the book together.
M & G: What inspires you?
Fernando: In many ways, may be seeing the work of others, listening to music or watching a movie, but photography is the most common trigger.
M & G: Tell us a little "what is the technique you use for your work? Fernando
: Work first on paper, draw and paint with watercolor and then finished with Photoshop.
M & G: Tell us one of your hobbies for your time
free Fernando: read a lot, novels and some comics, watch a lot of films and TV series. I also like to eat, drink and sleep, in short anything that is not outdoors.
M & G: Your book- favorite story?
Fernando: I do not know, I like many things changing over time. There is always something good to say that nobody knows but right now I can not think of anything.
M & G: "movie or animated series favorite?
Fernando: I love Doraemon. It has humor, fantasy and sometimes a very poetic language and melancholy. I also like Samurai Jack, the funds are great and very well directed.
M & G: What character or drawing you identify?
Fernando: Luckily for me and thanks to my psychologist and I do not identify with either. Just keep thinking that Astroboy is based on my life.
M & G: What illustrator or graphic artist would you highlight?
Fernando: There are currently many very good illustrators, whether adult or child, the list would be enormous: Miguel Calatayud, Mark Ryden, Eric Puybaret, Ryan Heshka, Fred Stonehouse, Carlos Nine, Ana Juan, Mcbess and many more.
M & G: Recommend a website or blog that you especially like

M & G: "or self-taught art studies?
Rachel I started almost by chance (and thanks to advice from a good friend) to study at an art school in my town, I was 2 years but could not finish. What I can say is that I went through school almost on tiptoe, as if anything was out there with me. And after a few years (bastantes!) started again to draw, paint, and little by little my relationship with paint was consolidated, almost accidentally and unavoidably.
M & G: Does your favorite work you have done so far?
Rachel Mmmmm .... I think I have no choice. All have their moment and they all get the same care. I like to see change ... first pencil and then colored dress. I love to paint!
M & G: What inspires you?
Rachel Opening your eyes, watching everything around me. Sometimes inspiration comes across a phrase, an image, a person specifically, a tree ... you're right, or you're sad ... I think anything can help inspire you, you only need to be fine tuned!
M & G: Tell us a little "what is the technique you use for your work?
Rachel Pinto with acrylics and most of the time on a good paper. Although sometimes I like to change and paint on wood, fabric, cardboard ... whatever!
Other times I use the collage, I had a great time with the "cut and paste" and looking for the perfect piece of paper that will fit and wear the drawing ... so my table is transformed into a chaos of papers: old prints, magazines, newspapers ... I am happy there in the middle!
M & G: Tell us one of your hobbies for your free time.
Rachel I like small things, enjoy my friends, I like being at home, read, sit around a table sharing a meal with people I love and travel!
M & G: Your book- favorite story?
Rachel A classic tale, Little Red Riding Hood. Stories I read now ... I recently bought "Solitudes" illustrated by Chiara Fatti and " coat Lupa "Elena Ferrandiz ... delicious!
M & G: " movie or favorite animated series?
Raquel : Spirited Away, Worlds Coraline ... and the animated series created by Juanjo Saez "Arrós Covaticas"
M & G: What character or drawing you identify?
